Bathing Tips

Gather items you will need.

Brush out coat. A slicker brush will remove dead hair and tangles. Then comb through to besure it is free of mats before bathing.

Use lukewarm water for bathing/rinsing and a high quality shampoo and conditioner cleans well and rinses easily.

Start from top of head and work your way down. Work the shampoo up into lather. Scrub gently, down to skin. Careful around face & ears. Rinse well...until water runs clear. Repeat if necessary.

Apply conditioner leave on for several minutes, then rinse.

Towel dry, then use forced air dryer (Reminder if dryer is heated, use low setting so you don't over heat/burn your pups skin).

Brushing out your pup while drying, speeds drying time.
