A book on your puppies breed is helpful to have on hand.

When your baby arrives home.

Remember puppies are babies and need lots of rest, and quiet time.

New changes can be stressful, try to provide a calm relaxed enviornment. Your pup will adapt to the new schedule and family members in time.

Don’t let others over stimulate him/her passing them around, everyone handling him/her, other animals playing rough or scaring your new pup.

Never leave your puppy unsupervised with young children or animals.

Never leave your puppy outside alone, unsupervised.
(Allow puppies to use paper, pads or potty box inside, until they have adjusted to their new enviornments. They will not be accustom to going outside, as I do not expose them to the outside elements until fully immunized)
Remember to use Nutrical (dietary supplement) 2-3 times a day for your puppy's first month.

Feed you puppy a high quality puppy food. My favorites are Innova Evo, Innova Puppy, Wellness and Canidae.

Keep your puppy on the same food sent home. Instantly changing the puppy's diet can lead to diarrhea, upset stomach, and your puppy not feeling well.

If you change your pup to a new/different food, make sure you do it gradually over 7-10 days. 3 days of 3/4 regular food 1/4 new food, 3 days of 1/2 regular 1/2 new, 3 days of 1/4 regular 3/4 of the new food. This helps your pups system adjust slowly.
Get established with a regular Veterinary Clinic to help you develop a healthcare plan for your pup.
